Coachella 2023 Full Lineup + Glen’s Recommended Sets

It’s been a couple weeks since the Coachella 2023 lineup dropped and I’m just getting around to my annual lineup post. Don’t let the delay fool you – I’m just as excited about my 10th Coachella as I was for my 1st one!

As usual, I’ll share links to my past Coachella lineup blog posts, all the way back to 2010!

Lineups from Past Coachellas

Thoughts on the 2023 Lineup

This year’s edition will be a very special one indeed, with headliner and sub-headliner bookings that embrace the future (with a nod to the past), some very special gets, and a stacked undercard (as usual). My friends and I know that regardless of the lineup, every return to the desert is an amazing and special time. Here’s to Coachella #10!

Glen’s Recommended Sets

This year, I’ll include a mix of off-the-beaten path as well as big-name bookings for my recs. Read on for my list of sets to see!

boygenius – formed in 2018, this millennial indie supergroup includes Phoebe Bridgers, Julien Baker, and Lucy Dacus. Their folksy music is beautiful and all three bring loads of talent and uniqueness to the table.

Kenny Beats – multi-talented hip hop producer extraordinaire, Kenny Beats is the brains behind the beats for artists like Vince Staples, Gucci Mane, and Denzel Curry. His DJ sets are crazy good too, just watch his recent Boiler Room for proof.

The Linda Lindas – this all-girl punk trio blew up in 2021 with their viral hit “Racist, Sexist Boy” performed at the LA Public Library. With a late-night performance and label deal in tow, this band will be fun to watch.

Kali Uchis – if you like R&B with a Latin influence, you’ll love Kali Uchis. Isolation was one of my favorite albums of 2018, and I’m really excited to hear tracks from her upcoming new album Red Moon at Coachella.

2manydjs – also known as Soulwax, this duo uses the moniker 2manydjs whenever they perform DJ sets. Soulwax was one of my favorites from Coachella 2018, and if you’re looking for a truly interesting and fun DJ set, look no further.

Sasha & John Digweed – if you’re a fan of trance or progressive house, chances are you’ve heard tracks that were influenced by the sound these legends defined from 1993 on. This will be a treat as the duo return to the desert.

Frank Ocean – I had to include Frank Ocean because if there’s an artist that defined my 2010s, he would be it. I had the pleasure of catching him at FYF Fest in 2017 for Blonde – it’s one of those sets that I would tell my kids and grandkids about. This will be a truly special performance, one for the ages.
