This year’s winter break is my last winter break as a college undergrad, so I was determined to make it a fun and memorable one.
My rules: (1) Don’t plan too many things out in advance (2) When a fun opp comes up, go for it (3) Driving distance isn’t a limiting factor (4) Have fun!

Thurs 12/27 – AYCE sushi at Asahi in Corona with Gracepoint bros, bball at Pantera Park in Diamond Bar, Guppy House and Django in Irvine with Patrick and Wayne
Fri 12/28 – Start of church winter conference, ice skating with church friends at Pasadena Ice Skating Center
Sat 12/29 – New hamster Esau!
Mon 12/31 – Les Mis with high school friends, New Year’s Eve at uncle’s/aunt’s new home, Jack Reacher with mom and bro
Tues 01/01 – Dim sum lunch with James & family in Diamond Bar, tons of FPS games at Round 1 (1-hr time card ftw)
Wed 01/02 – Downtown Brea with Tim and Joanna, awesome chicken & waffles at Bruxie, Birch Street Bar & Grill
Thurs 01/03 – Universal Studios with Patrick, Joe, and Angela & bros, dinner at Mama Hong’s in downtown Burbank
Sat 01/05 – Jay visits SoCal, Hae Jong Chon KBBQ at K-Town with Jay and Brenda, explore K-Town at night, Boba Bear
Sun 01/06 – Dinner with Jay and James at Din Tai Fong in Arcadia, Half & Half
Mon 01/07 – Disneyland/California Adventure with Joe, Angela, Wayne, Jay, and Patrick, ran into my friend Dow and her bro, dinner at Tokyo Table at Irvine
Tues 01/08 – Christina FINALLY visits from Ventura, James, Jay, and I show her around Walnut/Hacienda Heights/West Covina, brunch at Rowland Garden Cafe, explore LA (Walk of Fame, Chinese Theatre), dinner at Daikokuya
Wed 01/09 – Lunch with James and Jay at Hunan Restaurant, shaved snow at Class 302, nighttime hike to the Hollywood Sign, stroll along Walk of Fame
Thurs 01/10 – Pick up Xavier at UCLA, drive to UCI to crash Tim’s boring classes, dinner at AYCE KBBQ at Gen with Chris, Tim, Xavier, Joanna, and Alec
Awesome break so far – I feel very blessed and thankful. Looking forward to chilling, processing, planning and whatever comes up the final week of break.
