Sometimes, I wish I had the chance back in high school to explore more food places around SoCal. On the last day of spring break, after Sunday morning services at my church, my friends and I decided to venture over to Pasadena for a highly recommended, highly-rated fast food joint called Lucky Boy.
Four stars over 500 Yelp reviews don’t lie. And you don’t need any luck to enjoy some amazing, artery-clogging food at Lucky Boy. I ordered their popular breakfast burrito – split it with a buddy and still had trouble finishing it. Eggs, hash browns, bacon, and cheese. Lots and lots of it.

Glen, do you just decided to do food spotlights whenever it’s late and I’m hungry? Next time you find yourself in Pasadena, check out Jake’s it’s on colorado, looks like a tiny lil burger shack, which to an extent it is, but super good, tons of customizing options, noteworty fries (nice cut and texture, easily can go ketchup or no), and good taste in music (beatles, foos, etc.). and now I’ve made myself hungrier..
thanks for the rec! and yes, i’m hungry at night, i write when i’m hungry, so i write food spotlights at night. not sure if that statement worked out…ha.
