Ah. It’s that time of the year again. Snappy suits. Check. Fancy banquet spot and food. Check. Hilarious videos. Check. ABA Banquet is a perfect combo culminating a semesters’ worth of memories, friendships, and work.
Cheesy intro aside, I had a great time at banquet tonight. Last semester, I didn’t have the chance to enjoy banquet in its entirety (was taking care of some stuff), and the semester before, I was a committee kid.
So this time around, I really got to see things in another perspective, and it was great knowing committee kids were enjoying their time and seeing the fruits of their hard work.
The videos were great, each and every one. Photo time was good as usual. It was great seeing ABA Alumni come out, and watching the Alumni video. I’m sad that some are leaving next semester, but I know they’ll have a great time and I wish them the best of luck.
As for the committee kids, congrats! You guys finished your first semester in ABA, and are finishing up your first semester at Cal. All your hard work will not go to waste, and I’m confident you all will excel in whatever you do next semester and beyond.
Fall 10 Prof, I’m so proud of you guys. I always brag to my friends and coworkers about you all, that you’re an amazing, hardworking, and smart group. Keep up the good work, and keep in touch! You guys have a separate blog post from me coming in the near future.
