One year ago, I was a clueless freshman with some vague ideas of what I wanted to get out of my college experience. Near the top of my list was being involved in campus organizations, so I decided to stop by several first general meetings from different clubs to get an idea of what I wanted to do.
I’m glad that I ended up going to the ABA Fall 2009 First General Meeting, because frankly, college and life in general were not the same afterward.
I feel that I’ve learned so much in ABA the past two semesters, and I’ve met so many new friends and figured out what I wanted to do in life.
I’m not saying this will happen to everyone who go to First Gen, but I challenge you to give it a try. Who knows, maybe your life will change for the better, too.
