I hate taking medicine, especially when I have a cold. I could care less about the taste, the pill-popping, or the measuring. I just don’t think it’s necessary, and I don’t think they work well.
My prescription for fighting a cold: lots of rest, and lots of water. I tend to do more of the latter. The former I’m working on.
When it comes down to it, I think it’s the thought of having to rely on medicine that slightly unsettles me. Not that I’m completely against taking medicine, it’s just that I would rather not.
