I’ve done a post on Milanese in the past, but before I started the Food Spotlight label. With a restaurant like Milanese, another post is well-warranted.
Milanese Caffe is located on the corner of Dwight and Telegraph, a further walk than Gypsy in Asian Ghetto, but definitely worth it. Not only is the restaurant itself nicer and more spacious, but the food gives Gypsy a run for its money.
I ordered their Cajun Fettuccini – the name had definitely piqued my interest. It was a delightful blend of spiciness and creaminess. Not your typical Italian dish, but they pulled off the fusion tinge pretty well.
They also have more standard Italian dishes – pasta, pizza, lasagna, you name it. Would definitely recommend for those of you craving some good Italian food.

Great post, looks appetizing and I might just try this next time. One of the most popular orders, that are typical favorites of mine, include the Milanese long burger and chicken Caesar wrap! Try them next time.
I’ve tried the chicken Caesar wrap…will definitely try out the Milanese long burger next time!
