We don’t get many corporate restaurants here at Berkeley, so when James and I drove north to pick up his bicycle, we stopped by a Westfield shopping center in Fairfield.
It was kind of late, so after searching out restaurants that were still open, we spotted a Johnny Carino’s. Since I’d just finished a test that day, I decided to reward myself and ordered a Fettuccine Florentine with chicken, plus a cherry Italian cream soda.
The total came out to be $16.78, but it was money well spent. Service was top-notch (maybe because we were the final patrons), the fettuccine was delicious, and the cream soda was equally good.
I definitely experienced a food coma shortly after.
