I had the chance to try out this new restaurant in downtown Berkeley. BurgerMeister is styled after one of those old-school burger joints.
Everything about the place reminded me of Fuddrucker’s. I’ve concluded that it is a clone. Which means that the burgers are just as good.
I tried the San Diego burger, a quarter pound patty with roasted jalapenos and jack cheese. Although the bun is different from Fuddrucker’s signature ones, the burger was juicy and tasty.
My only gripe would be that the place was pretty pricey.
